Position Overview: The BOM Coordinator plays a critical role in our operations, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our BOMs and supporting our production processes. This position requires expertise in ERP systems, particularly in managing master data within a production environment, and familiarity with MRP (Materials Requirements Planning). Exposure to engineering drawings, including Solidworks or Autocad, is essential for success in this role.

Schedule:

  • 5x8
  • 8 hour shift

Required Qualification

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing BOMs and master data within ERP systems in a production environment.
  • Strong proficiency in using ERP software and familiarity with MRP concepts.
  • Exposure to engineering drawings and CAD software (Solidworks, Autocad) is highly preferred.
  • Experience in industries such as signage, manufacturing or materials planning, master data management, project management, BOM Engineer, or similar roles.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to problem-solve and optimize processes.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate BOMs for our products, ensuring alignment with engineering specifications and design changes.
  • Utilize ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to manage master data related to materials and components.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret and incorporate technical data from engineering drawings and CAD models into BOMs.
  • Support Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) processes to optimize inventory levels and production schedules.
  • Work closely with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials listed in BOMs.
  • Conduct regular audits and updates of BOMs to reflect changes in design, materials, or suppliers.
  • Provide support for cross-functional teams, including project management and inventory control, to drive operational efficiency.
