At Dualite, we take immense pride in the people who make our company exceptional. Today, we celebrate Meredith Miller, SHRM-SCP, our Director of Human Resources, for her selection as part of the ISA Elite 2025. Each year, the ISA Elite program honors 35 young professionals under the age of 35 who are dedicated to advancing the signage and visual communications industry, driving innovation, and cultivating connections as the future leaders of this dynamic field. This prestigious recognition highlights her impactful work in HR, an often behind-the-scenes but critical part of the signage and visual communications industry.
For Meredith, being named to the ISA Elite is both an honor and a moment for reflection. “It was interesting to note that I’m the only HR professional among this year’s recipients,” she shares. “HR plays a unique and critical role—an essential function that drives business success in ways that aren’t always immediately visible. This recognition is not just about my contributions but a testament to the exceptional teams and individuals I’ve had the privilege to work alongside throughout my career.”
Her inclusion in this elite group reflects the importance of human resources in the signage industry—a field where innovation thrives because of the people behind it. Meredith’s passion lies in creating environments where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to do their best work, and this acknowledgment underscores the pivotal role of people-focused leadership.
In the fast-paced and creative world of signage, HR professionals face unique challenges. Meredith’s role encompasses talent acquisition, employee development, benefits management, compliance, and cultivating a positive workplace culture. Each area directly impacts Dualite’s success, from attracting top talent to supporting their growth and ensuring inclusivity across all teams.
“The sign and visual communications industry requires HR to be agile and adaptable,” Meredith explains. “At Dualite, we work with a diverse range of roles, each contributing unique strengths and perspectives. Our job is to ensure that every employee feels equally valued and supported, no matter their position.”
This diversity is one of Dualite’s greatest strengths. By fostering inclusivity and open communication, the company creates an environment where innovation thrives and employees are empowered to succeed.
Balancing employee needs, company goals, and compliance requirements is a complex challenge, but Meredith approaches it with a blend of empathy and strategic thinking. “Every employee is unique, with their own needs and aspirations,” she explains. “My role is to bridge the gap by delivering clear, accurate, and consistent communication that resonates on an individual level.”
This philosophy became especially critical during the COVID-19 pandemic, a period Meredith describes as one of her most rewarding professional challenges. “Navigating those pivotal years tested every facet of leadership,” she reflects. “Meeting the needs of our employees while addressing the operational pressures of the business required empathy, creativity, and decisive action.”
From implementing health and safety protocols to maintaining transparency and making tough business decisions, Meredith’s efforts underscored her belief that putting people at the center of every decision is the cornerstone of effective leadership.
As a recipient of multiple honors, including being a finalist for the Clermont Chamber of Commerce Young Professional of the Year, Meredith enjoys sharing her experience and perspective. Her advice for aspiring HR professionals and young leaders? “Approach your role with both critical thinking and empathy. Go beyond simply implementing policies—take the time to understand how they impact employees and the organization in real, tangible ways. Balancing integrity with strategic thinking allows you to create meaningful change and foster a workplace where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.”
Meredith’s journey with Dualite has been transformative, both personally and professionally. She’s helped shape a culture that prioritizes respect, growth, and innovation. Her recognition as part of the ISA Elite is a testament to the incredible work happening behind the scenes at Dualite, from HR to the diverse teams that bring signage projects to life.
“Being part of this industry has shown me the importance of collaboration and the power of diverse perspectives,” Meredith notes. “It’s a privilege to work alongside so many talented individuals who inspire me every day.”
As we celebrate Meredith’s well-deserved honor, we also shine a spotlight on the role of HR in the signage industry. It’s a reminder that the people behind the signs are just as important as the signs themselves.
